Lord, hear our cry.
Come heal our land.
Breath life into these dry and thirsty souls.
Lord, hear our prayer.
Forgive our sin.
And as we call on Your name,
Would You make this a place,
For Your glory to dwell
Open the blind eyes.
Unlock the deaf ears.
Come to Your people,
As we draw near.
Hear us from heaven.
Touch our generation.
We are Your people,
Crying out in desperation
Hear Us From Heaven...
This song was written by Jared Anderson in 2004 and perfectly illustrates the heartbeat of prayer. The Bible also gives us this excellent example of humble intercession:
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We are His people, and we are called by His name. We must humble ourselves and pray. Our world doesn't need another agenda, they need a praying church who seeks the face of God, having turned from their wicked ways. Note that when we do this, God will hear us and forgive our sin, and heal our land!
Who will join me today as a prayer warrior?
Who humble themselves and pray?
Who will seek His face and turn from their wicked ways?
God is counting on you. Your neighbor depends on you. Satan hopes you will remain complacent and comfortable. Let's unite together in these last days as prayer warriors and pray, "Hear us from heaven, touch our generation..."

Effectual Praying
James 5:16 (KJV)
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
God is calling parents, teens, children, grandparents... Christians everywhere - rise up and be counted! Prayer changes things! In this first post, I've included scriptures that deal with praying.
Acts 1:14 (KJV)
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Acts 3:1 (KJV)
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
Acts 6:4 (KJV)
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Acts 4:31 (KJV)
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Acts 10:31 (KJV)
And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
Acts 12:5 (KJV)
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
Romans 12:12 (KJV)
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
1 Peter 4:7 (KJV)
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
Prayer-warriors unite - this is our greatest hour!
